Ever since I was a young boy, I have loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, or sports in general, I was always outside. When I was 9 years old my family found a ranch located in a small South Texas town about 60 miles north of Laredo - Freer, Texas. The town of Freer is home of the legendary rattlesnake roundup and the world's oldest deer contest. It also happens to be my favorite place on earth. Whether it’s enjoying the outdoors or creating memories with family and friends, there is something special about escaping reality.

According to the dictionary, the definition of Freer is “not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one wishes.”

No matter what you choose to do in life or whatever passion you pursue, you’ll enjoy it more if you’re freer. Freer Outdoor was created to inspire others to #livefreer and live life to the fullest.
